Drop the Mic: Back at It edition

Mic-DropReturning from a vacation is never easy. Repeat: never easy. It doesn’t even matter what you did during said vacation. Nope. Because even still, even if you did absolutely nothing or if you did absolutely everything, returning back to work, school, working at school, is tough business.

If you are like me, if you’re just settling in after a long winter’s nap, the right music is needed to help usher you back into the grind.

And because it’s a new year, it’s a new playlist series. Last year’s Shimmy Shimmy Ya series is retired. This year’s playlist series is here, ready, willing and able. This year’s series title? We’re going old school. It’s the Drop the Mic series. And the first installment?
