I’m a big fan of making playlists. A big fan. It can be traced all the way back to making mix tapes– my unabashed love of sequencing, creating the perfect order for songs to be played.
At Giddy Up America, there is the Kick Out the Jams series of playlists. These playlists have celebrated everything from the start of summer, the end of summer, the start of fall and the doldrums of winter. A playlist for every season! Are these playlists only related to the weather? Heck no! Sports Happy jams, jams to help you recover from an episode of Game of Thrones, a playlist for those fart-knocking good ol’ days of the Government Shutdown. There are also playlists honoring Led Zeppelin, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rogue Wave and Rustic Overtones. Again, you can find all of these HERE.
Now here is a Best of playlist. After this, the Kick Out the Jams series is retiring. Time for a new title, a re-branding for a new year. But before that happens, this is a playlist of a song from each Kick Out the Jams playlist published.
