Before last Tuesday’s Presidential election, I put together a playlist meant to provide a positive distraction to the noise that was building as the election drew closer. Now a week later and the results of the election not being entirely wonderful, I wanted to create a companion playlist. I wanted to create a playlist of songs positive in nature or just uplifting in nature- not necessarily lyrically or specifically. Music that lifts your spirits a little bit maybe because the beat is dope or the rhythm bounces in a way that makes you smile.
