Jim James, the front man of My Morning Jacket, is awesome for a variety of reasons.

The latest reason is his appearance of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this week. James performed “A New Life,” a song off of his new solo album Regions of Light and Sound of God. Backed by the Roots, a string section, a couple dudes on bass drums and a sax player, James tore through this feel good jam.

The weather is shitty today here in the Northeast. This sunny song will make the weather a little easier to take.
