We took last week off because Ryan was again dying from the flu, making the entire O’Connell household question the validity of flu shots. But now we’re back and we cover a lot this week. Kendrick Lamar dropped a new album and that’s super cool, while Kanye has said he intends to release 3 albums this year and that’s super unattainable as far as goals go. Dude, you haven’t even finished The Life of Pablo yet! Speaking of finished…it definitely seems like CD’s are finished, as is the idea of a nation-wide album release day. Nothing is sacred anymore. On the TV, we’re stoked about The Americans coming back and decidedly less stoked about Vinyl. We also debuted a new segment: Hot, Cold or Luke where we ask ourselves how excited we are about recently released trailers.
Finally, we spend the last half of the episode talking about The Bachelor finale and to do so properly, we brought in our first guest, Matthew Ferguson, who helped us dissect the episode, as well as make hints that we’d be happy to be sponsored by the Dollar Shave Club.
