Sports fans can’t agree on much, if anything at all. But one thing almost anyone who watches sports can agree on is that by and large, sports announcers are terrible. They are masters of awkward comparisons, denizens of the past, broad proclaimers of the obvious. The good ones are few and far between. An entire website is even dedicated to the awfulness of sports announcing.
Right now the clock is ticking and the “second” day of March Madness starts in a little over an hour. Four games at once only increases the chance of bad announcing.
