Oh you Fridays in Winter
Oh you days, resting idly at the end of the week

Oh you Fridays, gateways to leisure town
Oh you days, goals and benchmarks

And that will be all that poetry, or attempts at poetry, that will appear on Giddy Up America in 2016. Let it sit there as a testament to the weird vibes that come with a Friday in the winter, when slogging through the week is harder to do than it is in any of the other seasons. Throw in some snow and you have a gauntlet fully formed, fully functional.

I’m not going to say the playlist below is a liable to make every single Friday in winter tolerable, but it might make a couple slightly more so. So in terms of odds…not bad.
